I love the idea of political news teens can understand. Al Gore proposed a network a while back, but for right now, I like the Daily Show. Sure, he lampoons daily political stories Weekend Update style, but when it comes right down to it, he is presenting these stories in a factual manner, in a form that is easily accessable (not to mention entertaining). Whether Republican or Democrat, a greater understanding of politics is, as Martha would say (if she wasn't all tied up in the whole insider trading racket), a "good thing". Another thing I encourage of America's use is seeing "Fahrenheit 9/11". WAIT!!! Do not flame me yet! See the movie, not to accept Michael Moore's views, but to know the standing of far-lefts like Moore. To realize a viewpoint other than their own is not a bad thing, but rather a step toward a better understanding of politics. written 6/28/04 at 11:38PM Eastern Time
